Eagle winged goose

Of recent drawings, this is probably my favourite. I drew it with a blue pen and shaded in some parts with a yellow pencil. I saw the goose head and my son saw the eagle on it's back. What is much more cheery about this combo than my last post - the dodo cassowary, where one bird was extinct and the other is endangered, is that geese and eagles are doing pretty well.

In fact there is an eagle success story going on in America. The bald eagle 'no longer needs the protection of the Endangered Species Act because its population is protected, healthy, and growing' - according to US Fish and Wildlife Service.  Isn't that great. It just goes to show that species can be brought back from the brink!

What can you see in this picture - what does it say to you?

My next drawing is not bird related, but I think it does look like an animal. Look out for it coming up next Thursday!
